Ping Pong is very popular here. In fact, it's the national sport of China. It's also something I'm planning on playing a lot while I'm here. So yesterday, my pengyou (friend) took me out to get a new one to use.
We snagged a taxi a little ways away, and went to a place that had about eight stores containing ping pong equipment. I got a great deal with a custom paddle, where you pick your blade, and the two rubber sides for each side. I bought all three things, and they put it all together for me right there, so that was a very fun experience!
